1. How much does a new basement window cost?

A new basement window will generally cost between $2750 and $4000 to install, dependning on size of the window, direction of basement joists and if Modpro is finishing the inside of the window. Installing multiple windows does reduce the cost per window.

2. How long does it take?

The installation procees typically takes 2-4 days for 1 window, 3-5 days for 2 windows, depending on if Modpro is finishing the inside of the window. Minimal to no inside access is required on the first day.

3. How big can a new basement window be

It is not recommended that the cutout in the wall exceed 48" wide, as this would trigger an engineer's review. Most common installed sizes are 30"wide x 36"tall casement/inswing or 44"x36" slider type windows.
